To parent, the vision bearer of the record industry urge that “when your child has a dream, as a parent what you do is to help that child realize his dreams. If your child says he like cars he must not be a mechanic but he could be an auto engineer, if he is very athletic, he could become Eto’o Files. Whatever your child wants to do just be there and assist him/her because if this dream was killed then we all will not be standing here today.”

Speaking, the parish priest and erstwhile Catholic Education Secretary for the Buea Diocese, Rev. Fr. Alexandra Nougi Sob, expressed gratitude on behalf of the parish to the crew for putting smiles in the faces of the youths whom he say have gone through hard times as they could not effectively worship the lord due to their limitation.

The donated four hundred thousand FRS which was raised up to five hundred thousand by Buea-base legal expert, Barrister John Kameni, Fr. Sob said will be used to purchase the much-needed musical set so as to enable the youths not just to praise the lord as they are used to, but equally to gain some skills which can tomorrow be a source of livelihood.

“I have a wonderful and Juvenal community that sing very well but their only set back was because they didn’t have musical instruments and so this particular project which I came up with aims at amassing funds to enable them have a good musical set and sound system. No matter how fierce your vocal cord is, if it is not complemented by musical instrument then you are still miles away. The money donated here today plus the support from the parishioners will be used to purchase a modern piano and a good sound system,” Fr. Sob said.
