Former Catholic
Education Secretary at the Buea Diocese who currently heads the Catholic
University Institute of Buea, CUIB, Rev. Fr. George Nkeze Jingwa, for the
weekend celebrated his 25th anniversary of priestly ordination
during a crowd pulling event that took place at the esplanade of the
University’s Molyko Campus.

The celebrations of the
priestly anniversary of Fr. Nkeze’s silver jubilee which started with a special
mass was equally cumulated by the launching of the Catholic Beraka Ministries,
CBM, a non-for-profit organization founded by the celebrant with aim to form
minds and hearts of African Catholics and People of good will as well as the
launching of his book titled “BERAKAH: An Authentic African Eucharistic
Spirituality”.
The ceremony attended
among others by the Bishop of the Buea Diocese, Immanuel Bushu, catholic
faithful, family members, Nkeze’s former and current students, educational
authorities, politicians and municipal leaders kick started some weeks ago with a special sporting competition
that ended last Friday at the Molyko Omnisport Stadium.
Speaking to pressmen,
the educationists and prolific writer whose reforms are clearly visible
throughout the Diocese was categorical that it has been 25years of grace and
blessings from God whom he says he draws his inspiration from. While
emphasizing the need for a positive mindset, the celebrant urged all catholic
Christian and people off good will to join him thanked the lord for his
marvels.
About Fr. Nkeze
George Nkeze Jingwa
came to this world on November 15, 1963 in Mamfe to Micheal Wengem Nkeze and
Agnes Menyi Nkeze. After attending the St Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary in
Bambui, he was ordained on December 6, 1992 at St Claire Parish Menji by Mgr
Pius Suh Awa.
